That's another reason I left. When I had time off in the summers, I usually stayed inside because of the heat, plus I'd have to cover up because of the skin cancers. Old age creeping in!<G>

Can't comment much on the west coast, I'm an east coast guy. Plus, I left FL 10 yrs ago. I do know its a helluva lot hotter over there. The Guld is like soup in a bowl! East coast is a bit cooler with the (sometimes) prevailing SE breeze (on the coast).

The delemma with the bugs...as development continues, seawalls,
mangrove destruction, dredging, pollution, etc., many things (besides weather) like boating, fishing, diving become useless.

Before Colorado, I lived on the peninsula of Washington State for 8 yrs. Kinda liked that more than CO. It's hard to find "peopless" wilderness in CO. That's why I try to make it up to BC & the Yukon every summer.
