So you are saying that Republicans learned the tricks that the Democrat controlled Senate used on President Bush 41 and on President Reagan? One would expect the confirmation rate to be higher when the President and the Senate are controlled by the same party. This does not change the fact that Democrats employing the nuclear option are ignoring the precedent of over 200 years for their own short term political ends. History will cast Senate Democrats in an unflattering light.
