Beanie Babies actually don't cost all that much. The main Beanie Babie craze was something like 6-8 years ago, when everyone wanted them and they were going for premium prices. Believe me, I know. Like, my daughter was seriously into them at one time.

I myself had a problem for some time with saying like all the time. For some reason it is a very expressive way to speak. But it is very Valley Girl, and thus extremely annoying.

When my daughter was about three years old, Cabbage Patch dolls were all the rage. Mothers were knocking each other down and there were skirmishes to get the few that were available.

I thought that was so obnoxious! I did not get a Cabbage Patch doll for my daughter because of it.
