Indians will number 1.449 billion in 2030 against 1.446 billion Chinese, she told the upper house of parliament. By 2050, the world population is projected to be nine billion, with India and China accounting for 1.59 billion and 1.39 billion respectively, she said in a written statement reported by United News of India.AFP bangkokpost.com
