I think people put too much stock in month to month changes in these numbers. They are subject to being revised later (often by a lot), and the next months numbers can vary a lot (100k more new jobs than expected one month, 80k less than expected the next...). Trends in these numbers might mean something but one month of numbers isn't that important IMO.

I agree. I posted it only because it is fairly important news. But you're right......one month does not make a trend.
