look at what you are paying for in those taxes. hot lunch programs,, hot breakfast perhaps too. transportation for all those buses and salaries . perhaps guidance counselors, security guards, and numerous sports programs, huge swimming pool or pools.. latest in gym equipment. special education for those who do not speak english, finally maintenance costs and heating, air conditioning costs. If fancy grounds then grounds keepers or landscaping company.

i assume teacher salaries may be in the school tax. gg

When I bought this place the taxes were $900 a year. Today they jumped from $3,700 a year to $4,600 a year.

You desperately need California's "Prop 13."
