<<<AMD will be facing will be a shrinking market overall>>>

Why shrinking? Market is expanding as PC prices at $200 and people in Chindia, Brasil, Russia etc making more and more in clownbucks. If you look both Intel and AMD are running at capacity. The caveat is that people in Chindia are buying Celerons and Semprons on which Intel/AMD are barely making $$. I regard tech companies as better stocks than US financials. I have no position in tech.
