>Even if they are better than INTC what is the upside on PCs?<

I agree that there really isn't much of an upside on PCs. However, on the server side it is a different story as more and more processing power is needed with an ever expanding Internet.

With AMD now able to penetrate the middle tier server space with higher performance, considerably lower power requirements at significantly lower prices, I would not be surprised to see greatly increased profitability assuming that the money losing flash division is out of the picture. I believe that this is the reason why insiders are bullish on the stock.

On the commodity side which includes PCs (a low margin business), I believe we will see much higher volume as these processors will become the basis for most appliances including multimedia centers. However, I don't view this segment as highly profitable.

p.s. I do not recommend the stock at this point though I like the company. However, shorting a stock with a lot of potential upside seems risky to me.
