LU appears to be ready for a big rise. The PE ratio of 6.81 is very attractive. An unpopular stock now but a bit more good news and this name will sell big. This could become a historic come back as communication can become hot once more this summer. Same thing happened two years ago when both LU and NT jumped 10 fold from $0.50 to around $5.00.

Any feedback on my thoughts?

I tend to agree with you. The market has pretty well given up on LU, NT, and other telecoms, they are WAY out of favor. Indications are that LU has started to get its act together (as you point out), which fact seems largely unnoticed by the market. When LU earnings accelerate and if the company stays in the black for a couple quarters, I don't see how the price can help but climb greatly. I don't know the time frame, but I would think within the coming 12 months. Nortel, I think, will eventually get its act together, once the accounting mess is resolved, but the turnaround will take longer than for LU.

best,
Mark
