Now now AV, descending to abuse is not rational. It just shows the paucity of your arguments. You correctly noted that said bloke's initial education was in Egypt. But notice where he got really going. Not held back by Islam, but turbo-charged by freedom, private enterprise, capitalism and secular education. Anyway, while stuck in Egypt, he wasn't educated in one of those Islamic Jihad superstitious 'education' mental prisons. Anyway, as I explained initially, somebody innumerate would show somebody who managed against all odds to escape the destructive clutches of Islamic Jihad as though that disproved my theory. Thanks for doing that. It's not bigotry to state facts. Neither is it stupidity to point out better ways of doing things. You might not like the facts, but they are facts all the same. Here's another example of a fact, contrary to your idea that all children are born geniuses. <scientifically and medically speaking, every child is born a genius... it is the childs development in life that shapes his/her utilization of his/her brain to exploit this blessing or lose it over time... > Not all children are born geniuses. Not scientifically, or medically speaking. Nor speaking any other way. Some are morons when conceived and will never be anything else, no matter how much effort you put in. Here's another fact. Not all humans are the same. Not even close. Well, close enough to all look generally human [though the range is such that at the extremes one would need to look twice to see if the person is a gorilla or civilized kind of chimp]. But the differences are still very substantial with very real effects on their lives. Children conceived as geniuses can be converted to morons, by many techniques. Nutritional deficiencies during pregnancy is one good way. Oxygen deprivation does a good job too. Lead and mercury poisoning work wonders. Being locked in solitary confinement for years in a box and fed sugar and water would do it as well. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Some are dumb. That's just how it is. But you can destroy a work of art, such as genius DNA. What we are doing is filtering the deficient DNA out of the gene pool. It's not even a very slow process. It's going really quickly these days because so many people are unable to cope with the complexity of modern life and the huge use of contraception and abortion is filtering out DNA which would otherwise proliferate. Females choose among males and that's the main selection process. Women fairly universally want to reproduce with intelligent males, according to lists of characteristics women choose. Men choose somewhat differently, but they too rate intelligence fairly highly. The Flynn Effect [another scientific fact, which you probably won't like, but you can read about it in Google if you like] shows that intelligence is booming. In standard deviation amounts at that!! And not over 1000s of years, but decades. It's pretty obvious that human intelligence has grown in leaps and bounds over the past 10,000 years. The process is really racing now. It's literally lifting off the planet now as intelligence detaches from neurons and synapses and heads into cyberspace. I don't mean as humans in cyberspace, but in It's own right. It being extra-somatic intelligence which has It's own senses, processes and reactions to those senses. Contrary to rabid superstitionists who hold humans in high regard, human intelligence is pitiful. We can't remember or recall anything like Google can for a start. Compared with possible intelligence, human intelligence rates about 0.1 on a scale from 0 to 1000. That's being generous. I mean possible in the next 30 years. In absolute terms of intelligence, we'd need a whole lot of zeroes. I have no idea how many, but I suspect googleplex numbers of them. I'm too unintelligent to figure out how intelligent it's possible for intelligence to be, or even what intelligence might mean on a grand scale. There are some nice thoughts for you. Have a nice day. Not all races or countries have the same intelligence, however you measure it, and whatever the popular but ignorant fantasy. Which is hardly surprising since intelligence is so variable and so dependent on DNA which is so variable around the world. Melanin deficient people, on average, have higher intelligence than melanin rich people, for example. It's important not to confuse correlation with causation - a common mistake. Unintelligent people would think that melanin reduces intelligence. That's not so. Here's another fact you might not like: Males, on average, have 3 years longer than females before their brains are fully grown. That gives them a big educational advantage, currently turned to a disadvantage because of dopey educational practises. Guess why nearly all of the super-duper scientific whizzoes and general geniuses are males. It's not because of male bigotry, contrary to stupid feminists, it's because nature has selected females to be ready to reproduce 3 years younger, and has forced their full development at a younger age. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. An old woman doesn't learn very well either. Nor does a low intelligence child. That's just how it is. Mqurice
