Would you like a second opinion? "I'm OK, you're OK" is not simply an opinion. It's an attitude about conflict. It's a preference for seeing others as having something to offer, something that may be different, seeing difference as interesting and enriching. It's a bias towards common ground, and if there's no common ground, then at least tolerance. It's a hesitation in finding conflict where conflict may not be. Of course, I'm always receptive to your opinions on this or any other non-technical subject. (Your technical comments I routinely tune out, no offense...) I could do nicely without the hostile overtones, though.
