Huh? Are you on crack with your ex mayor and all the other bubbleheads out there? Prices are up three and four fold on many properties in FL since 1999 and our whole undiversified economy is even more tied to housing and tourism than before which should be a scary proposition. There is still enough land outside of S Florida for another 30-40M people here. All of this would be a good thing if our companies were increasing profits, the stock markets were rising, and incomes/rents were also rising at a proportionate level. Instead we have this phony ownership society program of socialized lending for way too many who should not be owning property that is keeping our economy from collapsing.
