Do you ever hear anyone promoting that tibetans are indigenous scum to be bulldozed aside in favour of one or another Chosen People? All the time, from every Chinese account. The Chinese regard the native Tibetans about the same way the American settlers regarded the Sioux. As far as the Chinese are concerned, they are bringing civilization to the place. There was a good Atlantic article a couple of years ago, now available only to subscribers. The Chinese also came with an invading army and killed about a million Tibetans and destroyed the monasteries, but what the hey, I'm sure those 8,000 paid off tenant farmers in Palestine in 1920 will rank higher in the annals of crimes against humanity. -g- Maybe you think it's the Tibetans' fault for being pacifists and not being clever enough to invent the Palestinian cultural inventions of airplane hijacking and suicide bombing.
