Our history is littered with such screw jobs, but you have to have read someone like Howard Zinn to know of them. It's certainly not what's taught in the schools.

Yes in WWII we allied with just about anyone who would fight the Nazis and/or the Japanese.

"On that same
day Ho Chi Minh signed a declaration of independence and the
Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born. The proclamations
said: "All men are created equal. Their Creator endows them
with certain inalienable rights, among those are, Life, Liberty
and the Pursuit of Happiness."

Its easy to put words on paper.
