Saw this today on CSPAN - excellent - link to audio ***** (Open letter to all here ) Summary of what I saw today on C-SPAN PLEASE READ * People fall into 4 categories per their views on 9-11: Which are you?? 1. The US was attacked on 9-11 by militant Islamic terrorists, who attacked and brought down the WTC, and attacked the Pentagon. This was a surprise attack, and no one in the Bush administration or our govt. had knowledge of it before 9-11. The "WAR on TERROR" is a legitimate response following on the heels of this massive attack on the USA. 2. While agreeing with group 1 that the US govt and it's officials had no prior knowledge of 9-11, Group 2 believes that the Bush administration has used 9-11 and the emotion after it in a cynical way to expand American interests, by attacking Iraq, and using 9-11 as one reason, plus the "War on Terror" 3. Group 3 believes that there is overwhelming evidence that our government officials, the Bush administration, the FBI, and others had prior knowledge that we would be attacked on 9-11, and intentionally did not prevent this. In fact, they issued stand down orders so that our own military jets (which had 90 minutes to respond - and in some cases like the Pentagon are stationed 5 minutes away - would not) This was done intentionally, to create a pretext for the War on Terror, and aggressive American intervention in the world - the extension of the American Empire by force, to shake up the probable evolution of the world over the next 20 years in America's favor. 4. Group 4 goes further. Not only did the Bush administration know about 9-11, and intentionally fail to prevent it, but they actuaally participated in the events of 9-11, for the before mentioned reasons. A personal note: I started out on 9-11 in Group 1. As Bush decided to attack Iraq, illegally, I found myself in group 2. After hearing the 9-11 commission report, and questions raised by many including cabinet appointees in the Bush I administration, and FBI agents, I now find myself in Group 3 - solidly so. If Group 3 is correct, Bush and company have committed high treason against the USA. I am not convinced yet of Group 4's position - but I am not ruling it out - and believe we must have much more investigation. If Group 3 or 4 is correct, even partially, we in the US have seen High Treason occur against the American people, and war crimes against humanity by this group. Group 4's position is almost too much to contemplate, but after the evidence coming out, I think it deserves a thorough hearing and investigation by Congress, and the portion of our media that is not devoted solely to Michael Jackson, Brad Pitt, and will actually spend the money to investigate this ala the Pentagon Papers. I would not have believed this 5 years ago, let alone when I voted both for Ronald Reagan in 1984, and George Bush I in 1988. However, there are too many inconsistencies to keep quiet anymore. If only a portion of this is correct, we are seeing a dark age in American history, and is it not our patriotic duty to review the facts, educate ourselves, and find out what happened?
