The entire Bush regime is built on elaborate lies and spin.
It's the single greatest issue going forward. lack of honesty, transparency and all kinds of bait and switch programs. Bushies call things by names which mean the opposite oif what they really are. Like "Clear Skies" or "Healthy Forests" or "Operation Iraqi Freedom".

On the latter, I admit Iraq is probably beter off without Saddam, but it's really a lesser of two evils question. What's replaced Saddam is only theoretically workable. Iraq is one step away from all-out civil war and chaos and the worst part is that, like Vietnam, we still don't really know who are enemies are. Some of our enemies may be those we call our friends.
