>>The world we live in is like a play, produced as reality but with half truths and outright lies to pull us around like dogs on leashes. I don't know how anyone survives without a strong reliance on God.

Oh it will make people psychotic as the reality starts to sink in....Bush should step down.

James > Although you are not religious I feel that you are a spiritual person who has high moral values and fair play. In one sense you are better off than those who profess being a Christian but live in hypocracy.

Kind of you to say so -- and very perceptive, if I might add. And yes, I do have my own view on "the unknowable" (God if you prefer it that way).

> I believe America is now ran by corporate fascism

I agree. The Republic is "kaput". Democracy is a farce.

> The media is controlled by the state with the airwaves being polluted with immoral, sexually perverted talk and videos.

Or maybe the state is controlled by those who own the media? And I agree about what one sees. In fact, we have CNN and CNBC here, and also NPR and Fox News on satellite radio, and I can't watch or listen to any of that either -- all propaganda.

> Gameboys who teach our kids vice and sickening lifestyles that has, imo completely corrupted our country.

I don't know who does the teaching but I can't stand the lifestyles, either. It's like that here too. And add drugs to that.

> I don't know how anyone survives without a strong reliance on God

Actually I used to practice Zen meditation and that also helps.

I'm sure they have also rewritten the Bible and any other religious texts that suit their purpose, particularly where the Mid East (Israel) is concerned.
