That pastor is just following the example that Bush sets himself at all his own speeches. If you don't pass the loyalty test (or answer to him as Commander In Chief), you can't hear your president speak in public.

As a private group, if he wants to boot members out because they don't support Bush, that's ok by me. He ought to lose his tax exempt status as a result. Actually, if he's a law biding Christian [a pastor no less], he should be notifying the IRS as we speak that he has opted out of his tax exempt status.

He has a decision to make, what's more important? His moral standing [principles] or his tax exempt status [money]. Morality vs. money? We all know what choice a Christian pastor should make.
