I guess I'll wait and see fresc...but Government is putting billions back into the system, this is what depresses me... you along with many others seem to think that putting money into the system is it.. period... I don't know what you do for a living but I spent many years dealing with healthcare at the management and governmental level in the software industry...

Where oh where are they putting the money... are the government listening to the same vested interests that want to perpetuate the current system ? (hint the answer is YES) LOL but I should only expect as much since you think the gun registry expense is well spent... Interesting is it not that the fabled budget surplus is rapidly dissipating ... yes!!! trust this government... sigh... You more than convince me that as I said earlier the Liberals will win a new majority next election... They are indeed the Sultan's of Spin... (apologies to Dire Straits)

What on earth did your delightful article have to do with reducing the top heavy administrations, Peter says it very well here.... The inside view is depressing.... and it is not the front line doctors, nurses or technicians that are the problem... all in all they more than earn their keeps...

As to Winnipeg's murders... well my examples are not 'isolated' incidents with low public impact... or are you missing that point ? Relative numbers don't count... or ... well that's a bad part of town.... just don't go there... and hope they never go to your part of town... How can anyone argue with your 'logic' sigh...

The government is probably throwing more money down a black hole... and the value received will not be fair... mark my words in 10 years you will be saying... I'm an optimist ... it can only get better now... I hope I'm wrong but experience says otherwise...

regards
K
