And does anyone really believe that nonsense about Abe walking ten miles through a blizzard to return a single penny to a customer he inadvertantly over charged?

This was out in the prairie. His was the only store in 50 miles.

Why not just wait until the next time she comes in and give it to her? Where was she going to spend it in the meantime?

Actually maybe it was true and a real indication of someone lacking basic cognitive skills. How did I get on this subject?
