Chuck Hagel today basically said Bush is lying about Iraq. Some commander in chief Bush has turnd out to be. He lied about why he was taking us to war, and now he's lying about why we're there and how things are going. According to Hagel, we still don't know who the insurgents are or who is behind them, only a fraction of "trained" Iraqi forces are willing or able to fight, and if you can't settle Iraq by next year it's probably a lost cause. Refreshing to hear some serious truth-telling from a major Republican leader. Hagel is a great man. And a war hero so I guess that means Bushies will smear him in 2008 when he runs for president.
