First, I should state that I don't think LU will go after NT. However, if they did, it would be a way for LU to increase their market share. Given the consolidation among the Regional Operating Telco's, I believe there needs to be some consolidation among the equipment suppliers. If not, you are going to have to many equipment companies chasing to few operating companies.

The telco industry is a mess, the biggest I've ever seen. IMO, only a few are going to survive...that is, a few of the operating companies and a few of the equipment companies.

Time will tell how all this plays out.
