Still crazy after all these years....

John Ashcroft used to drive a winnebago around the country and sing at A of G churches. ( i know because he once slept in my drive way.)

it's just a way that we all deal with and project our guilt and life experience.....We are all a constant projection.

A smokey mirror constant projection of our forbidden passions.

Peter Coyote does a great job in the Audio version of the book...."The Four Agreements."

In it he describes the world as a MITOTE (spelling)...a giant fruit and vegetable stand in our mind where nobody speaks the same language and everybody has different cultures (desires and needs) and they all trying to sell their own wares.

It makes me think of this administration in some strange way....they are screaming the loudest trying to peddle their fruits and vegetables and they speaking in tongues that nobody can understand and in reality nobody really cares to hear. (they just haven't figured that out)

It's like in some strange way. God is telling these jerks that they were wrong but nobody has figured out how to speak their language yet. And they are screaming so loud that nobody could get them to listen any way.

It all has a way of working itself out according to Miguel Ruiz. (author of the 4 agreements)

His answer to the problems are simple:

1. Don't take anything personal..... ANYTHING. If somebody takes a gun and blows your brains out. Don't take it personal. That's pretty impossible to do.

2. Be impeccable with your word. Which is next to impossible too. Meaning say what you want. And leave it. Don't bully the next guy and don't run over his face with a steam roller. But simply state want u want and leave it at that.

3. Don't assume anything. Ask questions. Seek out the truth.

According to Coyote if we are 1. impeccable with our word, 2. Don't take anything personal and 3. Don't make assumptions. And everybody does that. He says that the big Mitote (sp)i.e. Fruit and vegetable stand in our mind will start to silence itself.

I think it's an interesting way to explain cultural differences and the push and pull that people like the president r trying to deal with.

i would spend 19.99 and send the president a copy of the tape but personally i think he could afford it and frankly, i can't, at the moment.

anyway. i guess i was bored.......Thats my book review for the morning. Have a nice day. bye.

I have not seen them, no. A UCC in our area runs the banner in front of their church, we do not. A bouncer only letting certain people go in, would go against everything I have ever been taught within the UCC.
