I wouldn't worry just yet. Until we figure out how to instill our thinking machines with that divine spark that screams ME, we're still safe, and they are still harmless slaves, unconcerned with our use of them. These guys have been at it a long time. I think they have a machine that understands it would get wet if it could venture out in the rain. cyc.com We'll figure it out eventually. Perhaps our purpose is to develop our own successor, making us cheesy Gods of a sort.
