Eric,
Now that the National Post has changed hands, the Aspers own all the print media from coast to coast. With every newspaper in the land in Liberal hands, I predict a majority Liberal government. Already, I have noticed the fear mongering has begun and is sure to increase. By the time the voting night arrives, I expect Liberal vigilantes will be roaming the streets, pitch forks in hand, searching for conservatives in every nook and cranny to save Canada from certain doom..... Just consider how much money is at stake. The Gomry commission is a red herring as Adscam dollars were only about $100 million. Consider gun control: For example, the highest quote from an IT company to develop a national gun registry might be as high as $2 million. There are $1,988,000,000 reasons (and counting) why Liberals don't want a change in government and the possibility of a criminal enquiry into just that issue alone (maybe that is why Martin keeps Anne Mclennan close as deputy prime minister?).... There is the perenial issue of Indian and Northern Affairs where $1 to $2 billion a year is "lost" if I may use Liberal jargon.... I wonder how Revenue Canada would respond to me if I suddenly had "lost" income I didn't report?....Finally, the printing companies that print the ballots are owned by trustworthy Liberals and Liberal captains manage the district polling stations where ballot boxes are issued, returned, opened and counted. Ballot box stuffing is just one of the many Liberal ways. Another Liberal trick I know of is collecting voter registration cards in high population density areas where people often move. The local liberal adage is "vote early and vote often"....No wonder Mugabe was comfortable with scrutineering from his old Liberal friends in Canada eh:-))....Alls fair in love and politics eh;-))
