What a moron. Of course public figures can sue for libel and slander. The standard of proof is higher but they do have that right.

Dimbo? LOL. I thought you were older than 12. Celebrities and public officials are no different. They have a tougher time suing successfully because they are in the public eye, but that's a far cry from "can't sue", which was your assertion. Get a clue, AS. This stuff isn't really that complicated.
