I agree with you on THAT one! That's an awful lot of temptation to lay on a bunch of kids that make more money than they know what to do with. The ironic thing about it is that when Willie Mays retired he took a job with Bally's as a greeter. High rollers would get to shake hands with him, maybe sit at the same dinner table with him, or pose for an autographed picture with him. Baseball banned him from appearing at any old timers games because he associated with gamblers. The fans were LIVID, screaming "How can you have an old timers game between the NY Giants and the Brooklyn Dodgers without WILLIE MAYS!". To baseball's credit, they bowed to the wishes of the fans.
