energyplay, Re: Cheney. Do you suppose the guys at Cheneys level know the true story with regards to oil? Do you think they would know if we are at or near "peak oil"? If the Saudi fields are all screwed up and full of water like Simmonds says would Cheney know? Even if they did they probably wouldn't let on, might cause a panic. My mother owned shares in a private oil trust that was created from Illinois farmland that they bought back in the 1930's. She got small royalty checks till they sold out to Sohio or Marathon in the late 1980's. Was this part of the Clinton Sands? This was near Clay City, Ill. I still have boxes and boxes of correspondence that collected over the years. Slagle
