Cirrus will tolerate me. hehehe He's good to talk with, you should engage him. I had a couple of other folks too, but the structure of the website we were conversing on was changed so that the purely political posts were no longer broadcast site wide, but limited to only the thread that the posts were meant for. A couple of my Liberal friends took and umbrage and took leave of the site. It was a sad thing because they were quite capable of bringing the left side of arguments to me in a fashion I could understand and question with minimal name calling on either side. I consider their leaving a loss. But they would not see how some of the more lively posts we had back and forth would actually be quite offensive to some of the other people on the site. Two good minds left over such a small thing, well, that and I am certain I constantly annoyed them. One thing I noticed about though when I talked with them, it was always I, who was asked to change or consider their view. Never did they offer to consider mine. They were older and more experienced than I, so maybe they thought I should just listen and benefit from their years. I tried to be respectful, or at least not too disrespectful, but they still went their own way. Cirrus is about the last one left who will even try & chat reasonably.

Cooperation and good will was lost by an administration that used 9/11 to further its own agenda both domestic and international. Everyone wanted OBL and the taliban. We ended up with an invasion of Iraq based on lies.

Throw the whole damn iraq fiasco out. That's what i want. Use a little of the money at home. I know it's a novel idea. But it's what i want.
