No polly anna at all. That is your choice of understanding of what I am saying, no more, no less.

Somehow you seem to think you know the intentions of what I mean when I post. You are quite often wrong.

You didn't like the parties. So what. Ultimately it is what they will be, at least for the average American to understand. There will be the Sunnis, the Kurds and Shias as the major players. If, and it is a big if, they manage to make a cohesive gov't.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime, once-in-a-century power grab for wealth, land, autonomy and power over others.

It is also a once in a century or millenium chance to become a cohesive country with goals as a coutry while respecting the other religions with equal representation instead of oppression. They've all experienced one party rule, if anyone knows how much they don't want to experience that again, it would be the Iraqis. They will fight like hell for control, but it is the best interest that they figure out how to get along, elsewise, more of the same or worse.
