Ah, but you forget one thing. Kerry is now immune from the same smearvets attacks. Rove used a single-use slime weapon. Once the charges were truly analyzed, not a single one of them held water. At the most it was a matter of Kerry over-dramatizing in two speeches over a 35 year period. In other words, who cares?

Next time, the election is going to be more about issues and substance. Plus, Bush won't be there anymore. So who would JK run against? McCain? He's not going to smear JK.

I have no idea if Jk will be the nominee next time, but forget about Hillary. She probably won't even run and if she does she'll do a Joe Lieberman in the primaries.
