'They're above the laws' ---- you bet. That's exactly what they think....in earnest. Bush, Dobson, Reed, Rummy, Cheney, Rice, Scathe, etc. etc. actually believe in their heart of hearts that they are a superior species and are, therefore, not bound by the laws of the mob. Lie about war? Steal from families? Take food from chidren? Carpet bomb civilians? Torture innocent prisoners? None of these immoral acts makes a dent in their brains. Getting rid of the filibuster or putting insane people on the federal bench is child's play to them. They are superior human beings so whatever they do is perfectly ok. After all, Bush believes that God wanted him to be Prez and, therefore, nothing Bush does can be wrong. It's a psychosis and it's rampant in the Republican party. All the ugly things that they do are mere symptoms of that psychosis.
