Re: A few members took the line-item veto into Federal Courts and that was rapidly resolved. That's not a concern with Bush in office. He has not vetoed a single bill since taking office. Pretty remarkable for the purported party of "smaller government". I'm amazed that all the Republicans who were howling about reducing the size of government during the Reagan, Bush 41 and Clinton terms have now miraculously come around to supporting massive spending on war and domestic terrorization, aka "Homeland Security" resulting in gargantuan debt. Honest Republicans like Eisenhower, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and La Follette must be rolling in their graves.
