The Brits had been negotiating with Libya for over a decade. Libya needed oil companies to come and prop up the government and keep the rioting down. Nothing less, nothing more. Whaddya mean Shrubbery took credit for doing NOTHING? That's pure Republican sleaze and immorality. Bush is the laziest son of a gun ever in that office. He does nothing but destroy what others have built: the military, US stature in the world, the US Treasury, the US economy, SS, Medicare, progressive taxation, decency, justice, democracy.... He's after it all.
