Remember, there were some 40 million who didn't vote at all. Bush 'won' through fraud and intimidation and still had the smallest percentage 'win' of any Pres. It's called hiding under the bed, holding the nose and voting. Even Bush and Rove thought they had lost on the morning of the elections. They were thoroughly depressed and the mood in their camp was 'funereal.' That said something about the fraud in voting. On top of all this, they had 90% of talk radio yammering 24/7 with constant lies and they illegally used churches to bully their congregations. It took a great deal to slide the slime back into the OO. Rove KNEW and was absolutely correct that Bush had to be a wartime president to squeak by. Hmmmm. Makes you think about why Rummy sent so few troops into Iraq. A fast win in Iraq in 2003 and Bush is out on his ass.
