gibbogle, Re: nuclear. Nuclear energy began in the US. Opposition to Nuclear energy began here in the US. This process has a history which can be discerned. Whatever happend in your country came many years later long after the pattern was set here. In the beginning the the progressives were in favor of nuclear energy but wanted the nuclear secrets turned over to the UN and the Soviets. When this effort was stopped by the conservatives the progressives the became very ant-nuclear. Just the facts. Slagle
