Snowshoe, Re : V-3's. Hitler was no closer to nuclear weapons that Stalin was but if he had won it is reasonable to assume that he or his sucessors would have possessed them eventually. If Stalin had won the cold war we would have all been placed in concentration camps, liberals probably first because of the well known Marxist contempt for "parlor pinks". As it was we faced off the Soviets with nuclear weapons on hair-trigger ready for a whole generation to the unbelieveable great danger for the whole world. Better to have let the dictators destroy or at least weaken each other. You would choose Stalin over Hitler? Slagle
