I don't think anyone denies you "choose" the lifestyle. What you don't choose is that your sexual fantasies are all homosexual. IT would seem cruel to me to force someone who had heterosexual fantasies into a life of homosexuality; it seems equally cruel to me to do the opposite. I don't see the point. The fact that some people are uncomfortable with the lifestyles of others does not really seem like a good enough reason to squash the lives of other people. But hey, that's just me.

I think they are still looking for "proof" they are born that way.

Yes, that seems important to homosexuals. I think it is "duh" that all preferences and attractions originate in the brain cells. Finding the exact spot in the brain where these impulses originate seems to me a waste of time and resources.

Unless, that is, we have some idea that preferences can or should be altered through brain intervention. I wouldn't think that idea would be appealing to gays.

It might be appealing in the case of anti-social preferences such as pedophilia or rape.

But then we would all have to agree as to what is anti-social and what isn't.

I've always been attracted to brunettes over blondes, and I wouldn't want anybody to tinker with that. :-)
