All things considered, though, the trauma associated with the OSX upgrades seems nothing like the trauma of the pre-X upgrades. As I remember it, they were much worse.

sometimes wonder what the rush is to install upgrades on a system that is working.

Because it's there.

In other words: the rush is the rush. It's cool, it's fun, it's adventure.

And to get all the bugs out of it and be cruising again before everyone else.
