with coprocessors that was valued at $100k per wafer... basically, a cassette of 25 wafers paid for a piece of semi
equipment and all of its spares and support....we are not
likely to see those kind of profits again, unless there is a
paradyme technology shift that is currently in development.


I also remember the $9000 Apple Lisa computer. Just because prices have come down does not mean that profits are not to be had. Your statements consistently are at odds with reality.
