kohlt, I knew that Bush never said any such thing, but the author worded his comment as if he knew that was what Bush was going to do when it became convenient to do so. He should keep to what he actually knows instead of printing what he thinks another person will do. He has no idea what Bush may do, and to make such a statement is an unforgivable attempt to malign Bush, because the author knows that there are some people that think he knows what the hell he is talking about, when he is totally in the dark as to what the truth is.

Think tanks are a bunch of self appointed pundits that think they know all there is to know. They are pompous asses that believe they have vision beyond the facts. Bush is not going to dump the SS system because he is an astute politician that knows such a move would bring down the wrath of the public that would ruin that political party for decades, if not centuries.

If all those people have to do is sit around and think, they are not worth the food they eat. They are nothing but sycophants with nothing better to do, and contribute nothing of value to society. They can take their thoughts and shove them up their butts as far as I am concerned. That way, they will at least have DONE something.
