I doubt that the judge will allow the tapes to be introduced as evidence as they are probably not germane to the charges against Skilling, Lay and Causey.

Please provide any possible legal justification for your opinion. You must be joking. The results of their leadership from the top, a culture of greed and lawlessness they engendered as leaders pervading the corporate culture and many of their employees "not germane"? LOL.

Eliminate the juries, and the possibility that one juror was asleep, and these guys are all doing time.

Come again? Are you insane? Or do you believe that we Americans should now completely toss aside the Constitution and immediately declare martial law? Why would anyone want to "eliminate the juries"? Do you believe that American citizens should have no voice in the process of justice being meted out in our system? If you do, I am sorry, but in my opinion you don't have the first idea of why juries are empaneled: to place ultimate power in the hands of the people.

I happen to have great faith in the capacity of a jury to reach a just verdict. I would never even think to underestimate the capacity of a jury to see through to the truth, and severely punish criminals. That's why in all three of the cases I have filed I demanded a trial by jury - a cherished right in this country.
