That's very interesting. You evaluate movies based on how they make other people feel, not you. Most people are "static" and "not looking at life in new ways", like you are. So you like movies that enlighten those other people.

Personally, I prefer movies that I enjoy, and I don't worry so much about whether they enlighten others.

We can always turn on the TV if we want ambiguity and complexity. I'm really glad, though, that we have a selection to choose from. There hasn't been much of a choice in new movies lately, but the one you mentioned and the Kingdom of Heaven movie might be interesting. I may go see them. Is there any big-screen advantage for that Chase movie you liked? I may wait until it comes out on video.
