Your wasting your time with him. He lives in his own little world.. as do most of the Cons.

I learn two things out of the exercise. First, what kind of ridiculous arguments the conservatives come up with. They do get pretty silly. ... e.g., the word "filibuster" isn't in the Constitution. Second, I get to see just how gullible the conservative base is, i.e, to actually believe that the absence of a particular word in the Constitution has some meaning. It's a damn gullible base the conservatives have.

I think sooner or later, they might try...filibusters are Constitutional in even numbered years [hence the '68 filibuster was Constitional] whereas it's un-Constitutional in odd numbered years. Hence, it can't be used in 2005. As proof, the Republicans didn't squak that much in 2004, when the filibuster was Constitutional.
