The biological, scientific fact, is that at the moment of conception a new life which is biologically distinct from the mother is created. It is alive, it is human, it is innocent, and it is worthy of respect and protection as much as you or I. You can do what you like with your own scrapings but comparing that to a piece of dandruff is beneath you.

But some people think that a "soul" is slipping in with the sperm--or perhaps every sperm actually carries a "soul"--or perhaps many people have simply never thought about it... There is something quite dense and unconsidered in those whom yelp that the soul is the fundamental essence of a person and may not be destroyed...while at the same time screaming that an egg has been "MURDERED". So now we know how small a soul is and why Edison was unable to find or measure it...
