He also perceived the Germans as the master race. Wrong! Hitler perceived the Aryans as the superior race. Having said that he believed that a fair percentage of the German nationals belonged to this superior race with its pure roots up in the Nordic countries. That's is why he put a lot of effort behind his "Kraft durch Freude" program. My father took some great pixs of Leni Riefenstahl on the "Wilhelm Gustroff" when she visited Stockholm with this program in 1939. Taro

Ethnic cleansing of all minorities from German territories was a corner stone of Hitler's racial ideology. Since Zionism was established by Herzl in the late 1800s, Hitler might have learned much of his ideas about a racial state from Theodor Herzl and his followers.
