It's just as illogical and unfair as tarring Republicans for the misdeeds of the Mayor.

I'm unclear as to how you can tar all the liberals in America because of Robert Byrd. That doesn't seem logical, or fair.

It is totally illogical and unfair. But it's also no more absurd then your statements that you have to be a Democrat to be enlightened or compassionate.

And that was the point I was trying to make.

And I also don't think Byrd has changed much. He just used the N word in an interview last year. Of course the main stream press won't hound him as they did Lott.
