Thanks Ted, that was an excellent article. Darwin's Origin of Species lacks any scientific credibility. His contention that natural selection confirmed that evolution was responsible for the diversity of species is bogus science. Darwin was totally ignorant of even the rudiments of Mendel's genetic work. Darwin actually believed, for example, that if you cut the tails off of a litter of puppies, the next generation would all have short tails. He was completely ignorant of the principles of genotypes and phenotypes.
