Kery never flip-flopped on anything, The only policy he changed in the last 6 years was advocating the death penalty for terrorists. The flip-flop lie was designed by karl Rove to try and keep Kerry from being seen as a moderate. In fact, over the last 15 years or so Kerry has moved more to the middle as has the DEmocratic party. Partly that's CLinton, partly maturity, partly the lack of a Vietnam War type outrage. The GOP is now to the extreme right, except for about 20% of the senators and congressmen who remain honest and moderate. The entire Bush administration is now far rightwing yes men.
