it feels like 1999 all over again when
I posed the question to sun micro investors--
what is a p/e ratio? needless to say, they didn't
bother to understand why I posed it.

32k employees and the company is morphing into a lower margin server hardware company with weak enterprise software and desktop hardware (Sun Rays) that have yet to get any significant traction in the market.

Until Sun Rays have the same speed/power of a PC they are not feasible for most intense desktop applications in a corporate environment.

Let's see 1 quarter of profitability before we start praise.
